Our Mission

Raptor Rescue is committed to providing educational opportunities for the public to gain awareness of these majestic creatures, supporting the care of wounded and injured birds of prey as well.

Education

We are committed to educating the public about raptor welfare through both community-based efforts and online resources.

Our educational materials are centered around providing accessible information to cultivate reverence for, awareness of, and commitment to protect birds of prey.

Rescue

We provide first aid to injured birds, stabilize life-threatening injuries, and ensure safe transportation from the injury site to an avian hospital capable of treating the injury.

Our handlers and on-site team are well versed in safely and carefully handling raptors in distress to promptly get them the care they require.

Michael Beran, Chance Beran and their team have been practicing bare hands rescue for animals such as bats, squirrels, skunks, and hawks since Wildlife Command Center began.  We have rescued hundred of animals.

We have recently been filming an Animal Planet show for bare hand animal rescue. If you are in need of animal rescue call our office at 314-399-8272.  We may be able to help.
