Found an Injured Raptor?
If you encounter a raptor that appears injured or ill, contact Raptor Rescue, Inc. at 833-Fly-Hawk or your local Department of Wildlife & Fisheries. They have the necessary equipment and knowledge to aid the bird appropriately and get it to us quickly.
Maintain distance from the raptor and avoid touching or approaching the raptor.
It is common for fledglings to be out of the nest prior to being able to fly completely. These birds are still under the care of their parents and have not fully left the nest. Interfering with this process can be detrimental to the bird. Please allow for the trained professionals of Raptor Rescue to make the distinction between a fledgling or an injured bird that may require further care.
